Obstacle free construction
Residential buildings for which an interest-free loan is granted as part of the housing subsidy have had to be created in a way that can be adapted to be obstacle-free since January 2007.
Provisions of the obstacle-free adaptability
- The house entrance must be accessible barrier-free.
- The corridors must have a minimum width of 120 cm.
- The stairs must have a minimum width of 100 cm.
- The door light must have a minimum width of 80 cm.
- Any ramps may have a slope of max. 6%.
- The bathrooms must be designed obstacle-free adaptable.
- A distance of min. 120 cm must be maintained between two kitchen units.
