Requirements for the training of apprentices

Application for the granting of an education permit

To obtain an educational permit in an apprenticeship occupation, the relevant form must be submitted to the Office for Vocational Education and Career Counseling (ABB). 

The application form can be obtained from the ABB by phone (tel. +423 236 72 00) or by e-mail (info.abb@llv.li). Under the following links you can already inform yourself in advance about the requirements for the host company as well as the vocational trainers in the respective profession.

According to Art. 28 of the Berufsbildungsgesetz, the Office for Vocational Education and Career Counseling (ABB) must check whether the requirements for apprentices in a particular occupation are met before an apprenticeship contract is concluded for the first time. This is determined during a company visit by us. After receiving the application for a training permit, the ABB will contact you and arrange a date for the company visit.

Training of vocational trainers (vocational trainer course)

20 Lessons Seminar for vocational trainers

The seminar provides appropriate vocational pedagogical and methodological-didactic skills, which are obligatory for every vocational trainer according to the Berufsbildungsgesetz.

40 lessons seminar for vocational trainers

This seminar provides appropriate vocational pedagogical and methodological-didactic skills beyond the legal obligation and corresponds (equivalently) to the master teacher course in Switzerland.

In Liechtenstein, kurse.li - Stiftung für Berufliche Weiterbildung in Schaan offers the two courses in cooperation with the Office for Vocational Training and Work Guidance. Registration should be sent directly to kurse.li - Stiftung für Berufliche Weiterbildung. Course costs will be covered by the Office of Vocational Training and Work Guidance.

Further courses are offered at the IbW, Chur and by the ZbW, St. Gallen at various locations in the canton of St. Gallen.
