Al-Anon Family Group Schaan
For family and friends of alcoholics
|
Is your life being affected by someone else's drinking? In group conversation, we help each other find our way out of despair and helplessness.
We meet every Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the post office building Schaan (1st floor).
Al-Anon originated in the 1950s in the USA when relatives realized that they had different difficulties with alcoholism than the AA concerned. It is a worldwide, anonymous community of relatives and friends of alcoholics who meet regularly to improve their personal situation through conversation and sharing of experiences. Al-Anon believes that alcoholism is a family disease and that a change in attitude promotes recovery. In Al-Anon groups, people learn to better understand themselves and the disease of alcoholism and gain strength and hope.
